FAQ
FAQ
How does CTFN decide which deals to cover?
We primarily cover mid- to large-cap tradeable situations (M&A, shareholder activism etc) in North America and Europe, with selective attention on the Asia-Pacific region.
Among these situations, we focus by default on announced under regulatory scrutiny as well as soon-to-be-announced deals, particularly those with the largest profit pool (spread multiplied by market cap, plus dividends).
We also take requests directly from users.
How reliable is CTFN information?
Our business requires users to trust our content, so we take anything short of perfetion extremely seriously.
We trust our anonymous sources, and our track record speaks for itself — and them.
All our news and data are fact-checked by our team of analysts, and all our news is vetted for legal compliance by our in-house general counsel.
I saw CTFN published an article and I want to read it. What can I do?
We are a subscription-based service, so CTFN News subscribers receive immediate access to all stories.
Email our head of engagement ([email protected]) or schedule a platform review to get access.
I am trying to change my CTFN password but I have not received an email with the link. What should I do?
Reset emails come from [email protected]. Check your spam folder.
If you still don't see it, contact our head of engagement ([email protected]) or head of operations ([email protected]).
If I subscribe and have a question about an article, can I speak with the reporter?
Yes. Users can schedule a 15-minute direct consultation with the reporter for any story published within the prior two weeks.
All calls are supervised by our head of compliance.
