FCC Approval of Media General-Nexstar More Likely after DOJ Settlement

Updated at 1:42pm EST – The Federal Communications Commission will likely approve the merger of Nexstar Broadcasting Group and Media General now that the U.S. Justice Department has settled its antitrust concerns with the broadcasters, according to a law professor who has lobbied the FCC on behalf of major critics of the transaction.
